The Great Pond Cleaning of 2007 / 2007 May 12 017 BP 5/16/2007

 

The first of the 140-ish fish to be removed. These fish are the descendants of the goldfish my dad bought and put in the pond in the 1960s. The large, gold and black fish is about 9 inches long and quite fat. It was the longest and fattest of the fish this year. The historical record is held by a fish from the 1970s who got to be about a foot long.
